Everyone here -- a long day tomorrow

Friday 24th: All 20 teams registered for the race this morning at the Redwood Lodge Hotel, Bristol.

In the afternoon, at the main briefing, the pilots were briefed by Bristol Airport Air Traffic Control, NATS (National Air Traffic Services), Martin Harris the Met Man, Johnathon Harris the safety and gas guy, Kevin Stass (dealing with overseas air traffic procedures), Ian Hooker (Chairman of the BBAC) and of course Don Cameron.

In the evening all the teams and officials attended a reception at the Bristol Museum, where each team was introduced to the Mayor. Photos will be published tomorrow.

Hopefully all the teams will be getting some rest before their journeys start, hopefully on schedule on Saturday evening.
